Press Releases
Press releases can be one of the most
effective ways to spread the word about your company and/or
products. The upside potential is enormous and the cost is
minimal. The catch, (and this is the big one), is to write a
press release in a way that appears truly newsworthy ONLY.
In other words, the press release has to have a "hook",
something that sounds unique about a niche or person, since
that's what editors want to give their readers.
They are
constantly on the search for a new angle or twist on
otherwise familiar, boring stories. If you don't provide
them with this, editors will simply pass your press release
over as ad copy and you will be called to advertise... But
when done right, the results can be amazing.
Press Releases
need to be on your web site under MEDIA for editors to view,
in your marketing packets for sending out to national
magazines, at trade shows and expos, also to be given away
to all your customers with each order.
Press Releases need
to be changed up with new information plugged in on an
ongoing basis! Marketing is a must consistently.
